What goes into a pool cage
Every pool cage starts with measurements of the deck, the house roof line and where the cage can anchor. From those we get engineered drawings, then the permit. Once approved, the crew sets the footings or anchors, raises the aluminum frame, screens it and installs the doors. An inspector signs off on the finished cage.
Frame and screen choices
Frame color changes the look more than anything else: dark frames make the cage seem to disappear. Screen choice changes how it feels: standard pool screen for airflow, no-see-um screen for small insects, and heavier pet screen on lower panels if dogs or cats share the space.
Replacing an old cage?
If you already have a cage that is rusting, sagging or storm damaged, see screen enclosure replacement.
